The Only One Left...

In 2015, DeAndre Jordan had the opportunity to leave the Clippers and play elsewhere.

His teammates camped outside of his house blocking Mavericks owner ,Mark Cuban, from talking to him. After Jordan verbally committed to the Mavericks, Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, Paul Pierce and other Clipper personnel stayed at Jordan's house until midnight to make sure he signed back with the Clippers.

Jordan signed a 4 year/87 million dollar contract.

DeAndre Jordan was drafted in the second round by the Clippers in 2008 and has spent his whole career with them.

With the Clippers, Jordan established a list of credentials. He became an All-star (2017), an All-Defensive First Team player(2015-2016) and an Olympic Gold medalist (2016).

Now, two years later, DeAndre Jordan is the only player left on the Clippers roster. The Clippers currently hold the 9th seed in the West, only half a game behind the Nuggets.

With Chris Paul leaving in free agency this past summer to go play with the Rockets and Blake Griffin getting traded to Pistons. Was it right for Jordan to stay with the Clippers?
